Anti-Fraud & Invalid Traffic

Last updated: June 2026

1. Purpose

This policy defines what counts as a valid click on Pharoll, how we identify suspicious or abusive traffic, and which measures may apply to campaigns, creators and businesses.

Working draft for legal review before commercial launch.

2. Valid click

A valid click is an access event recorded through a creator's unique tracking link, with an active campaign and available budget, after the platform's automatic checks and redirect to the business destination.

Clicks generated while a campaign is paused, after the budget is exhausted, or in clear breach of the campaign rules are not counted for payment.

3. Invalid or suspicious traffic

Examples include, without limitation: repeated clicks from the same device within a short window, bot patterns, explicit encouragement of artificial clicks, self-clicks by the creator or business, and traffic that is clearly misaligned with the brief.

The dashboard distinguishes total and valid clicks. High invalid rates may lead to review, attribution pause or campaign exclusion.

4. Anti-fraud and logs

We apply heuristics and cooldowns, such as by IP address, at the current stage. The depth of these controls will evolve with the product.

We keep auditable records, including timestamps, referrers and invalidation reasons where applicable, for disputes between the business, creator and platform.

5. Responsibilities

Businesses must not encourage fraudulent clicks. Creators must share links authentically and in line with the advertising content policy.

Pharoll reserves the right to adjust balances, pause campaigns or close accounts in cases of serious abuse, without prejudice to other contractual measures.

6. Contact

Questions about invalid clicks or attribution disputes should be sent through the contact page on the website, identifying the campaign and tracking link.
